I have been recording drums, covering a variety of styles for 25 years. I wanted to provide something to write to, play to, practice to, that felt real and hopefully inspiring.

There are so many amazing super precise loop packages and one shot libraries available. I didn’t want this to be that. I wanted it to be loosely goosey and vibey.

Many of the loops I chose because they had a nice bit of movement to them that made me feel good. Hopefully they do the same for you.

Recorded with my standard multi-mic setup including mono Cole’s 4038 overhead, Solomon LoFreq kick, SM7 on snare through Neve Preamps for that beautiful saturation.
